**Summary**:
An exciting position has come available for an experienced and committed Yard Operative for immediate start within Landstruction, a multi award winning Chester based landscape company.

You will be required to assist the Yard Manager with the efficient running of Landstruction's external areas and supporting infrastructure.

Previous experience along with the highest standards of workmanship, and a keen eye for detail are very important to this role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting the Yard Manager with goods in and goods out procedures.
- Effective management of all stock.
- Collaborating on potential future improvements to the yard.
- Providing support to build and maintain irrigation systems.
- Carrying out general maintenance duties such as fertilising, watering, potting, weeding, and pruning of stock.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a telehandler as and when required.
- Possess the ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and deal with contract management requests in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the yard is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Ensures working practices are in-line with the companies ISO9001 & ISO14001 policies and has appropriate awareness.
- Ensuring Health and Safety and site activities are managed to the highest standards in accordance with statutory and company procedures.

**Essential Requirements**
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record

**Preferred Qualifications/Experience**
- Valid CSCS Card
- Experience in towing trailers (training can be provided if required)
- Telehandler / Forklift proficient
- First Aid

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50 per hour
