Due to positive growth a Medical Industry client based Widnes has an opening within their finance team for an Accounts assistant. Working in a collaborative team environment, the successful individual will report into a senior member of staff and get involvedwith month end reporting duties and transactional duties.
**Client Details**
I have partnered with a company within Widnes who specialise within medical / manufacturing. Due to growth within the business are creating a new accounts assistant role in addition to the expanding finance team.
**Description**
- Entering delivery dockets on to the system.
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and subcontractor payment certificates.
- Notifying Revenue of subcontractor orders.
- Assisting with month end duties
- Allocating payments
- Using system workflows to have invoices/subcontractor certs approved and authorised for payment.
- Generating invoice queries and liaising with suppliers to resolve.
- Creditor statement reconciliations.
- Other ad-hoc tasks
**Profile**
Previous experience in an accounting administration position. They should have good IT skills, be organised and self-motivated, good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous experience of medical / manufacturing,although not essential, may be advantageous.
