BRS have opportunities with one of the largest logístical companies in the UK, providing transport and logistic solutions across the country.

We are looking for a Security Officer to patrol and check trailers in our Cumbernauld yard, working 4 on 4 off, we have immediate starts available for nightshift 6pm-6am.

You will be on your feet patrolling the yard for 12hrs in all weather conditions. Duties will include
- Walking round all of the site throughout the night (will take roughly 1hr per round)
- Checking the back of trailers/loads
- Completing paperwork
- Checking trailer temperatures
- Adhering to health and safety at all times and maintaining a safe working environment
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Reliability and flexibility
- Confidence to speak up and challenge
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Have own safety boots and high-vis vest

You will have to attend an induction before starting any shifts and full training and support will be provided.

**Salary**: £10.81 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Night shift

- Are you happy working outdoors all evening? In all weather conditions on your feet all night?
- You will be patrolling the yard, opening every trailer door to check loads and take notes on each trailer. Are you comfortable with this?

**Experience**:

- security/warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- UK Driving Licence & own transport (preferred)
