CNC Operator

**CNC Operator / Turner / Miller Programmer / Setter / Machinist** who has experience working within a factory / manufacturing setting with the confidence to work on multiple machines is required for a well-established manufacturing company based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

**ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED - MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE**

**SALARY**:£11 - £16 per Hour (depending on experience) + Bonus Scheme + Overtime

Opportunity for mid-week and weekend overtime. An additional 6% performance and quality bonus scheme is operated and applied to gross wages (inc. overtime)

**LOCATION**: Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire

**JOB TYPE**: Full-Time, Permanent

**WORKING HOURS**:39 Hours per Week, Mornings and Afters, 8 Hour Shifts

**DUTIES**

Depending on your level of experience your duties as a CNC Operator / Turner / Miller Programmer / Setter / Machinist may include:

- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines and lathes to produce high-quality components to customer specifications
- Working with a team of highly skilled operators and tool makers to develop innovative process improvements
- Using your expertise to work with difficult materials and different batch sizes
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the production process
- Performing routine maintenance on machinery to ensure maximum efficiency

**MACHINES USED ONSITE**
- Turning - Doosan2100SY (Twin Spindle & Milling) with bar-feeders, Doosan3100M, all Fanuc operating systems, Doosan GT2100, Doosan GT2600 with Fanuc loading robot
- Milling - Doosan Mynx with Fanuc loading robot, Hurco VMX42 (x2), HurcoVMX24 with 4/5 Axis & RoboJob loader, Brother Drill & Tap with MicroLok Vices
- Sliding Head - Star SR32JIII B, Tornos Deco20 and Deco26

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- All levels of experience considered, although you should have CNC factory / manufacturing experience and be confident working with multiple machines
- Working to tight tolerances and capable of measuring your own work
- Experience in either programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines and lathes
- Strong knowledge of modern CNC technology
- Ability to work with a team of highly skilled operators and tool makers
- Experience working with medium to large batch sizes
- Experience working with a variety of materials including Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Aluminium and Duplex
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of quality control
- Good communication skills
