Our client based in Ferndown requires a Skilled Machine Operator to join their small but busy manufacturing team.
Applicants must have previous manufacturing experience and will ideally have extrusion experience.
Responsibilities to include:

- Working on a variety of specialised semi-auto plastic injection moulding machinery
- Overseeing the production process,
- Inspecting and packing ready products
- Counterbalance forklift driving (license required)
- Some computer work.

This is a physically demanding role which will require a lot of heavy lifting up to 25kg, so applicants must be prepared for this. An enthusiasm and willingness to learn is vital as a lot of training will be given. Applicants must be fluent in English, as communicationand understanding are key to the training to operate the machinery.
The company operate a day shift from Monday to Friday 07.00 am - 17.00 pm. This would be a temporary to permanent position and the rate of pay would reflect your level of experience, between £13.00 & £15.00 per hour.
