**Complex Care Assistant Nights - Farndon, Newark**

**12 hr Night Shifts 8pm - 8am**

**Pay scale from 11.59 - £17.39 per hour with weekly pay**

**To work within the area of NG24, we are seeking experienced care staff to support across a package of care for night shifts. All shifts are 8pm-8am with pay for the total duration and at one location.**

**Our clients require a range of complex interventions to include PEG and support to live independently. They require consistent members of a team to support them to live at home, maintain their safety, conduct clinical interventions needed as part of their care plan and to engage within their local communities. All shifts ensure that they are supported on a 2:1 ratio, meaning that you will always be working alongside another trained member of their care team.**

**Initial and comprehensive ongoing training and development will be led by our branch nurses, in full consultation with yourself, to ensure you both meet the compliance standards set out within legislation, and that you also pursue a career path driven and mapped out to suit your own goals.**

**Being employed as a Carer by us means**:

**Your role will include**:

- Prompting medication
- Helping with the preparation of meals and drinks
- Assisting with activities of daily living, domestic duties and personal care
- Supporting the diversity of our clients and their requirements
- Encouraging community trips and facilitating client participation
- Maintaining and updating reports such as care reports and Medication Administration Records.

**We’re looking for**:

- Paid previous experience as a care assistant.
- Excellent communication skills
- A driver’s licence is an advantage but not a requirement
- Good professional and personal references

- Six month’s paid experience in care such as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, support worker, personal healthcare assistant, care worker or similar is essential._
- Refer a Friend; currently paid at £150 for both the referrer and the friend following completion of 100 hours of paid work._
