**Job Description** What will you be doing?**
We're looking for a talented Operations Executive to join our Static Data team in Glasgow. You will be responsible for all aspects of Static Data and Account Maintenance. The position requires close cooperation with all of the Static Data team members, as well as interaction with all other operational areas across the entire business and stakeholder departments (front office, compliance, IT etc..), to deliver a high-quality service.
This is a hybrid working role with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.
**As an Operations Executive, your responsibilities will include among others**:
- Static Data responsibilities: Amending static data fields on various systems such as Nexus, XPlan, Avaloq and SEI upon request from colleagues; responding to queries relating to changes; checking the correct documentation is provided; quality check changes from colleagues; answering phone calls, advising front office colleagues; processing bulk changes within specific timescales.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard, work is produced within deadlines and that any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales.
- Assist when requested in project initiatives within the Operations team.
- Respond to enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with external parties where relevant and escalating any issues where relevant.
- Log, maintain and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
- Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensuring high quality service levels are delivered. Ensuring all work is with a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking and escalating to manager or relevant department where necessary.
**Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you should**:
- Demonstrable interest in financial services.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner and solve problems quickly with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines, with a flexible approach to team priorities.
- Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
**Desired**:
- Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
- Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate desirable but not essential.
