Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative

Our client, one _the_ UK's leading independent engineering and services businesses and specialists in Modular and Offsite manufacturing, are situated just off the M606 motorway - within easy access from south Bradford, south Leeds, Birstall, Halifax, and north Huddersfield areas.

We have immediate and ongoing starts for workers with mechanical assembly, technical process work, semi-skilled engineering, and other technical biased experience. Successful applicants will have access to excellent vocational training from the get-go and further training and development, in due course, for qualifying workers.

Job responsibilities:

- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts
- Reads and deciphers drawings
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Keeping the workspace clean
- Performing preventive maintenance and reporting and resolving assembly line issues
- Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly

Working hours:
Monday to Wednesday 07:00 - 17:00, Thursday 07:00 - 16:30

Shift pattern choices in the near future - including AM/PM - fixed and rotating - therefore, we are also inviting expressions of interest for these opportunities.

We are offering pay rates from £9.96 up to £12.02 per hour, depending on experience/skills - with a gateway/entry rate for those workers who may need additional training/time to get up to full speed and competency. Overtime is paid at Tx1.5 on hours worked over basic 37.5 hours Monday through Saturday and at Tx2 Sundays and Bank Holidays.
