To provide support to the Clinical Audit Team and Business Units in the collection, analysis, presentation, and dissemination of audit and quality assurance data, and the organisation of key quality assurance and improvement programmes.

The post will be based at Cobalt but the post holder may be required to work at other sites within the Trust.

To assist with the accurate and timely collection and analysis of clinical audit and quality assurance and improvement data.

To support the organisation and delivery of key quality assurance programmes coordinated through the Clinical Audit Team

We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. To assist with the accurate and timely collection and analysis of clinical audit data within the department using a range of systems.

To assist with the development and production of clinical audit reports.

To participate in wider quality improvement initiatives.

To assist with data requests and information.

To provide administrative and organisational support to the Team.
