**Overview**
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in creating memorable dining experiences and maintaining high standards of hospitality. You will work closely with both the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating knowledge of the menu and making recommendations to enhance guest experience through upselling.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times.
- Manage cash transactions with basic maths skills, ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle peak periods efficiently while maintaining service quality.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong upselling abilities to enhance guest experiences and increase sales.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a passion for providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to helping guests and addressing their needs promptly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
