We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Compliance Manager to join our Group Procurement Team, to provide support and monitor the compliance of procurement processes across the wider business.

Reporting to our Head of Procurement, you will play a key role in the pre-qualification of new and prospective suppliers and in tendering processes to ensure risk factors are minimized. Your role will be to enable the Procurement team to work in a sustainable,ethical, and responsible way by developing processes, policies, and procedures covering the following topics:

- Ethical procurement
- Anti-slavery
- Anti-bribery, & corruption
- Sustainability across supply chain
- Supplier on-boarding
- Contract management
- Supplier spend and trend analysis

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Development of Procurement policies, processes, templates, and tools ensuring optimum integration with other departments, alignment to industry best practice and continual updating to latest legislative standards, regulations and best practice guidelinesensuring fit for purpose.
- Reducing and controlling spend against non-compliant processes and in conflict with company sourcing strategies.
- Implementing and managing a Supplier Risk management evaluation programme and early warning notification process ensuring it is current.
- Improving and automating the sourcing approval process to standardise, streamline and embed procurement governance across the Group.
- Developing the supplier approval process and systems to ensure all suppliers are suitably evaluated and authorised.
- Lead risk and audit management in cases of non-compliance and work with stakeholders to ensure future compliance.
- Supporting business areas in their compliance to client supply chain requirements and procedures.
- Supporting the Head of Procurement with internal and external audit, compliance and ethical matters and investigations.
- Influence, input to and manage delivery of organisation requirements on supplier management and compliance.
- Development and management of the Supplier contract database ensuring timely identification to the Head / Procurement Managers and stakeholders of any actions required

**About you**:

- You’ll have demonstrable experience in a similar procurement role.
- You have good understanding of procurement systems and databases is a must.
- You’re CIPS qualified or progress towards is desirable but not essential.
- You have excellent digital skills, working with and maintaining data to a high standard using Microsoft platforms.
- You’re a confident communicator and have strong influencing skills.
- You have excellent attention to detail and possess a positive, flexible, and pragmatic approach to working.
