Building on our success, we are continuing to develop avenues for new business opportunities. Having recently opened our sixth depot in Nottingham, we have ambitious plans for further growth and business expansion.
Our rapid growth means that we currently operate from six locations - our main head office in Swadlincote in the East Midlands, Tipton in the West Midlands, Nottingham, Canvey Island, Bristol, and Glasgow.
**Position**:
Working with the current Health, Safety and Environmental Manager you will support with the implementation of a new management system and day to day compliance of Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Facilities administration.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the HS&E Manager in ensuring that all health, safety and environmental matters are dealt with quickly, efficiently and in line with legislation and best practice across all sites.
- Champion the health and safety function throughout the site and wider network, identifying opportunities to share best practise and discuss common issues or challenges.
- Other Safety/Environmental/Quality/Facilities administration as required including data entry.
- Creating minutes and writing reports including KPIs for site QHSE committee meetings and monitoring action points/targets.
- Maintain and protect confidential information (GDPR)
- Administer accident and incident reports including statistical analysis of records
- Audit support for ISO audits and self-auditing process.
- Collating data from all departments to ensure ongoing compliance checks are met.
**Requirements**:
- A strong drive and passion for health and safety is essential.
- Strong administration skills with experience of excel (including data driven graphs and charts)
- Ability to act professionally and discreetly
- Excellent interpersonal skills/good communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Flexible: able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and be able to organise daily work priorities whilst multitasking.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Driving licence preferred as may require travel to other depots.
Previous experience would be preferred, however a person with the right attitude and skills with a passion for safety would be considered for the role.

**Salary**: £24,000-£25,000 per annum
**Hours**: 40pw start and finish times between 07:00-17:00. Hours will be reflected by you and business requirements
