**Full Time, Fixed Term - Researcher**
- We are looking for a post-doctoral research assistant in Psychology for an exciting opportunity to be involved in a project funded by the Leverhulme Trust. The post is a full time position for 12 months from 1.10.25. The PDRA will work closely with Dr. Sunae Kim - and with Prof. Charles Hulme (Oxford Brookes, UK) and Prof. Paul Harris (Harvard, USA). The project will investigate how children of ages 5 to 8 allocate effort flexibly.

**Essential qualifications and qualities**:

- A good undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in psychology or a related discipline;
- Have a post-graduate qualification (or be nearing completion);
- Highly motivated, well-organised and detail oriented;
- Good communication skills both written and spoken;
- A strong background in statistics and substantial experience conducting quantitative research.
- Experience with research related to the project will be advantageous but is not essential.
- A background in cognitive and/or developmental psychology is preferred.
