As the first point of contact for visitors, our Weighbridge Operatives play a vital role in ensuring a positive and professional experience. If you’re friendly, organised, and confident, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Daily Reporting**: Prepare and share accurate reports with site management and commercial teams.
- **Site Inductions**: Welcome first-time drivers and guide them through safety protocols.
- **Emergency Response**: Act as the key contact during on-site emergencies, following escalation procedures.
- **Data Entry**: Maintain precise records in the Weightron system and ensure timely reporting.
- **Traffic Management**: Coordinate vehicle movements for safe and efficient operations.
- **Compliance**: Identify and report non-conformances promptly.
- **Communication**: Liaise with internal teams and visitors, using two-way radios when required.
- **Weighbridge Monitoring**: Check equipment is functioning correctly and within tolerance.
- **Documentation Checks**: Verify delivery paperwork for accuracy and compliance.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
**Essential**:

- Computer literacy (Excel and Word)
- Strong communication skills

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the waste industry
- First Aid qualification
- Knowledge of Environment Agency regulations
