Harbour Healthcare are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator in Stockport SK4. Harbour Healthcare set high standards for resident care, and being an activities coordinator will mean that you are joining a team that put residents care and comfort before everything else. Our staff are professional, respectful, responsible, well trained and have high expectations of themselves and each other. Above all, they work as a team to ensure that all in their care receive a ‘first class’ service.

**Job Overview.**
- To develop and plan programs, outings and events, staffing the events, and overseeing the implementation of activities.
- Ensure the programme reflects the current population of the services’ wishes and preferences
- To support and enable Service Users to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget

**Duties**
- Organise and pan activity programs refecting Service User’s preferences
- Produce newsletter to inform Service Users and their relative/friends what’s going on
- Support Service Users to access internet and communication such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime
- Pan events within the allocated budget
- Ensure Service Users are at the heart of events and programmes to enhance their wellbeing
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

To maintain skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from time-to-time to maintain and progress knowledge
