Band 3 Speech and Language Therapy Technical Instructor, 30 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced person to join our team as a Band 3 Speech and Language Therapy Technical Instructor based in Wrexham. You will support adults who have a range of communication and swallowing difficulties, in a variety of clinical settings across Wrexham and Flintshire - in hospital, clinics or at home, working under the guidance and supervision of our experienced and supportive qualified SLTs, and joining our growing team of skilled and experienced technical instructors.

With our training and support, you will develop your role working independently with patients, with the remote supervision of SLTs. As an SLT technical instructor, you will work with your patients to develop and achieve the goals that are important to them following their assessment with an SLT, using your empathy, compassion and creativity to create meaningful, patient-centred and engaging therapy sessions. The ability to travel across the North East Wales region is essential to this post.

Experience of working with adults in a health care or educational role, especially adults with communication difficulties, will have equipped you transferable skills suitable for this position.

You will join a friendly and very experienced team of SLTs and TIs, with access to regular clinical and management supervision, and will be encouraged to become an active member of our team who together continually develop and improve our service for our patients.
