**Early Years Teaching Assistant - Southampton**

Prospero Teaching are working with a selection of great Primary School in Southampton.

You would be responsible for supervising pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises and to manage a classroom, ensuring that pupils remain on task with the work they have been set. This is a highly rewarding, and challenging role. The School looking forindividuals who are supportive, non-judgmental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them.

Planning and cover work will be provided.

School hours are 8.30 am to 3.00pm, during term time. __________________________________

**About the Cover Supervisor Position**:
**Supervising pupils and ensuring a positive learning environment.

**No marking, planning or preparation - cover work is provided for you.

**Covering PE lessons as well as in the classroom.

**The Successful Cover Supervisor will have/be**:
**Strong classroom management skills while providing an inclusive learning environment.

**Confidence with teaching across all Key stages.

**_G_CSE minimum grade C or equivalent functional skills in English and Maths

**Hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.

**Posses strong interpersonal skills while communicating with parents, pupils and staff.

**To be Eligible the Cover Supervisor must have/be**:
**Relevant experience (Degree preferable but not essential )

**Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK.

**The ability to provide two professional references that cover the last two years of employment.

**Hold a fully enhanced DBS certificates (child workforce only) that is registered to the Update Service, or be willing to complete one.
