Engagement Lead

Can you collect and analyse staff experience and provide meaningful insight that influences action? Are you skilled in facilitating engagement activities such as listening events, workshops and focus groups? Are you able to build strong and lasting relationships with staff of all levels?

If so, get in touch because we are looking for an Engagement Lead to work within our EDI and Engagement team which supports staff to embed EDI and engagement into the daily functions and activities at MTW.

You’ll be part of a small team who set the direction and strategy of the Trusts’ engagement and inclusion agenda and deliver on national and Trust targets and action plans. You will have a broad remit with multiple projects and focuses, so knowing how to make priorities in planning and organising your time and work are key to this role.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.

The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.

The Trust’s core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.

We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.
