We're recruiting on behalf of a national distribution company head quartered in Marlow for a Sales Executive. Due to rapid growth, this exciting brand-new role has been put together to assist the existing team.

**Working patterns**: Monday - Friday (8.00am/4.00pm 9.00am/5.00pm or 10.00am/6.00pm) with two days working from home.

**Role Purpose**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Aftercare**
- Prospect for potential new clients and opportunities to convert these into increased business
- Research organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and decision makers within client organisations
- Deliver excellent levels of customer service
- Work with Sales and Client Services to identify clients
- Actively contact clients to sell on the portal and transfer them across
- Interpret and discuss client briefs with the customer to understand client requirements
- Oversee customer complaints within client portfolio to ensure right solution is provided for the client
- Working within agreed parameters sell in offers to meet customer requirements
- Ensure that margins are appropriate to maximise profitability and to compete effectively in the marketplace
- Create and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to convert
- Maintain New Business enquiry log

**Portal development**
- Provide feedback to the development team on suggested improvements to portal
- Support in User testing new iterations of the portal before being released

**Internal relationships**
- Work closely with the team to maximise portfolio growth and meet client requirements

**Person/Experience**:

- Ability to deal with colleagues in a professional, friendly and helpful manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Articulate - possesses strong communication and influencing skills - both face to face and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Persuasive and adequately robust in pursuit of sales
- Self-motivated - able to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent team player who is flexible and able to quickly adapt to a change and work well under pressure
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Customer focused environment including direct contact with customers
