**Time Served HGV Technician Required.**

For maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles and trailers of all makes and models.

SVQ Level 3 HGV Maintenance and Repair is essential, IRTEC & PAS43 are desired.

Must be able to work on own initiative.

Hours of work:
Mon-Fri: 0600 - 1600

Mon-Fri: 1000 - 2000

Weekend Shifts & Overtime are available.

As a HGV Mechanic with us you're job will entail;
- Carrying out PMI's & repairs
- Carrying out MOT Preperations
- Running repairs on customers vehicles
- Diagnosing & repairing faults
- Attending on site breakdowns
- Liasing with customers to carry out on site repairs.

Excellent timekeeping and communication with the office are essential to allocate jobs/liaise with customers.

Able to keep track of stock in the workshop and update the system accordingly.

Workwear can be provided after the 3-month probationary period (i.e. sweatshirts, polo shirts, trousers, jackets).

Workshop-based role in Airdrie but may be required to travel across the central belt of Scotland if required by the business.

Hourly rate of pay is negotiable based on experience.

An additional £0.50ph is available to applicants holding a Class 2 license.

An additional £1.00ph is available to applicants holding a Class 1 license.

**Salary**: £15.00-£21.00 per hour
