**Title: HGV Driver / HGV Shunter**
**Class 2 Shunter Driver/ Yard operative needed in the Macclesfield area**

**The role will involve**:

- Preparing the fleet of Class 2 and 3.5 ton vehicles making sure they are correctly loaded for the following day.
- Preforming some Yard duties when needed.
- You may also be required to perform some local deliveries when needed.
- Liaising with both the transport and dispatch team to make sure all processes move smoothly.
- Raising any defect on products as well as vehicles immediately so they can be dealt with
- Must be able to strap and secure loads making sure goods are safe to travel without being damaged.

**To carry out this role you must**
- Have a valid Class 2 licence, Cpc and Digi card and have at least 3 months driving/ shunting experience.
- Be flexible with start times as explained these may change after a trial period.
- Be versatile and willing to adapt to change
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team as well as being able to think on your feet.

Pay rate £12.00 per hour minimum of 8 hours time and half after 8 hours per day. Plus £50 per week attendance Bonus
