Network HR are proud to be supporting a prestigious and highly regarded global Asset Management firm to appoint a HR Business Partner to be based from their site in London on a permanent basis.
The role of HR Business Partner will see the post holder join an intimate HR team and report directly into a Head of HR supporting on various and key HR projects, generalist accountabilities along with any additional ad-hoc duties. Your responsibilities willinclude supporting with the recruitment, managing third parties, analysing relevant data and liaising with the wider business.
Working closely with front & back office client groups, this role will suit an experienced HRBP with a generalist background who can act in an operational/tactical remit with the ability to ‘roll sleeves up’ with all aspects of the HR function.
**Responsibilities**:
- Business Partnering: Work in partnership with the UK BP team, the relevant Divisional Heads of HR, and the Head of HR UK to support front and back office client groups, to analyse and interpret business needs, identifying trends and translating these intocommercially-focused initiatives and solutions. This will involve working across international entities, but also on a UK level
- Consultation & advice: Provide well-reasoned, accurate advice and guidance in order to support, influence and challenge the business in line with HR policies and procedures
- Recruitment and Retention: identify appropriate solutions to staffing needs - working with the hiring manager and global HR teams to successfully achieve resourcing plans
- Induction & integration: Proactively support Line Managers and Senior Management with the induction and integration of employees, as well as with their ongoing retention
- Performance Management: coach management on performance management issues and processes
- Learning and Development: proactively support and drive a performance culture through the identification of personal development targets and initiatives
- Reward and Recognition: play a key role in the end to end annual remuneration process. This includes liaising with external information sources, analysing data, consulting and advising Management in their decision making and supporting the communication rolloutto employees
- Employee Relations:
- Advise, consult and coach Line Managers including Heads of Department on people issues
- Support disciplinary / grievance procedures, using HR, Company and best practice/legal knowledge to enable appropriate decision making skills
- HR Projects: responsible for the project management and implementation of HR projects across a variety of topics, as determined by business priorities
- Talent Management & Mobility: support HR and the business in all talent, mobility and succession planning initiatives
- HR Team: support the wider HR team and act as a positive representative for the HR function.
- Flexible, pragmatic, problem-solving character who is confident working in ambiguity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of SMCR is very useful
- HR generalist experience gained in the Financial Services sector (Regulatory environment)
- A professional and commercial approach to HR, with a proven track record of delivery and the ability to deliver high standards of service
- Strong communication and advisory skills
- Experience of dealing with employees at all levels of seniority
- Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the business
- Demonstrable experience in managing relevant HR projects with a focus on high standards of timely delivery
- Strong analytical skills including use of Microsoft Office tools
- Experience of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member
