General Teaching Assistant to work with at KS 1; with opportunities to work alongside teachers and support children in all year groups from nursery to year 6.

Cawood (VA) Church of England Primary School is a very popular and successful school situated at the heart of the village. We are looking for the right person to join our very committed and hard-working team from April 17th. The Head Teacher and Governors are looking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate person who will be dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of learning and play experiences for our children. Initially your role will involve working alongside the children in key stage 1, under the direction of the assistant headteacher. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to pursue a career in teaching and/or working with young children.

**We would like to hear from you if you**:

- Have relevant experience within the Early Years with an Early Years Level 2 or 3 qualification
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years curriculum
- Are a flexible team player to work within our team who is able to build and maintain successful relationships with other staff, pupils, parents and carers
- Have high expectations of children's behaviour
- Are perceptive to the needs of children to enable them to access the curriculum as planned and designed by the teacher
- Show yourself to be well organised, responsible and efficient, aware of the need to maintain confidentiality
- Have good maths, English and communication skills and can engage in regular professional dialogue with colleagues
- Are empathetic, patient and caring
- Are eager to play a part in the life of our very busy and successful school.
