Liverpool Womens are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Band 7 Intrapartum Coordinator.
We are highly motivated midwifery team where commitment to providing high quality, woman-centred care is our passion. We are forward thinking with motivated staff who strive to improve the quality of the service that we offer to our women, their babies and their families. We are looking for a passionate, motivated, highly skilled Midwives to take on the challenge of coordinating a busy labour ward and midwifery led units, working alongside a well-established team of coordinators, midwives and medical staff.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the Maternity Unit during your shift by allocating the workload on intrapartum areas and deploying staff appropriately throughout the Maternity Unit to ensure the safety of all patients.
You will provide leadership by example, monitor standards and support colleagues in their practice. You will have excellent communication and time management skills and be able to balance competing priorities effectively. You will be forward thinking and act as a change agent working with the senior management team to develop the services we provide.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the Maternity Unit during your shift by allocating the workload on intrapartum areas and deploying staff appropriately throughout the Maternity Unit to ensure the safety of all patients.
You will be required to work day and night shifts 24/7 across the intrapartum areas.
