Teaching Personnel are the leading education recruitment agency within England and Wales and work with the majority of schools around Torbay. We are specifically looking for enthusiastic and well-mannered people who would be confident within a classroomsetting to provide general cover in a lot of our Torquay schools. We have numerous partnerships with ofsted outstanding and ofsted good schools
- Must have experience of working within a school-based environment (ideally Secondary School)
- Must have strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong behaviour management skills

As a supply teacher you will need to be adaptable and ready to work in a fast paced environment. No two days will ever be the same and you will get the opportunity to make multiple new contacts within different schools that will only benefit your careerin the long run. This would be the perfect opportunity for anybody looking to get into teaching in the future and would like a bit more experience before completing a PGCE. Someone with QTS can be offered Supply teacher rates/role, whilst someone without QTScan still be offered Cover Supervisor/Teaching Assistant roles. Cover Supervisor positions are similar to that of Supply Teacher roles however there is less responsibility involved, hence slightly less pay (detailed below).
- Pay for Qualified Teacher: £110 - £140 per day depending on experience
- Pay for Unqualified Teacher (Cover Supervisor): £80 - £95 per day depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
