- **6 months previous care experience is essential**:

- **The ability to learn new complex skills.**

We require 1 to 1 healthcare assistant for a male adult who has acquired a brain injury. You will stay with them for the day, assist him with any person cares, mobility, medications, and day to day activities. He has a fantastic personality and great sense of humour, and has a big team of healthcare assistants which he has a great relationship with that you will work alongside. You will assist him with fun activities and take him out on days he is feeling well. We are looking for a friendly and supportive person to join his team.Full training for all aspects of his care will be given with 24 hour support from our nurses and senior staff.Complex care training will be given by one of our nurses, to meet the needs of each individual client. You will learn lots of new skills and gain experience in complex care such as:

- Nasal and Oral Suctioning
- Oxygen Administration
- Chest Management
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Long term ventilation
- Tracheostomy care
- Seizure management

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25+ hours per week.

- Care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

Work Location: At his home/in the community during outings

Pay: From £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
