**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. Your passion for hospitality and commitment to guest satisfaction will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall dining experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling.
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A good understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
