**Information Security Specialist - Policy and Governance**
Fantastic opportunity to work with a household name dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Joining an innovative and inspiring team, you will be working to ensure GRC frameworks are upheld. Working closely with other departments you will provide oversight whilst challenging the risk and control owners. You will support the delivery of updated GRC policies and ensure they are embedded within the business. You will work to drive innovation and improvement whilst ensuring compliance.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Identifying and assessing risk within security frameworks.
- Reporting key risk indicators and the effectiveness of controls.
- Ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained whilst supporting the co-ordination of media outlets into a single view for c-suite.
- Attending internal meetings as the delegate for the information security managers when required, reporting on updates and delivering content to your peers.
- Mentoring colleagues and sharing knowledge to help contribute to the ongoing development of the team.
- Providing solutions and constructive challenge to ensure continual innovation and improvement is achieved within the team.
**To be a successful you will possess**:
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to confidently and efficiently engage with external customers of all levels across all sectors.
- Demonstratable experience of vulnerability detection within security frameworks and the ability to highlight areas requiring enhanced controls,
- Demonstratable experience working with security frameworks and oversight within a similar regulated environment.
- Robust analytical skills and a strong awareness of operational and/or business risk.
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written format.
**Reward**
Salary is £55,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience. There is also a very competitive bonus package ranging between 10%- 25%. You will receive 7.2 weeks holiday per annum including bank holidays - plus many, many more company benefits.
