**Simpson Judge East Midlands** are partnering with a growing business as they look to appoint an **Assistant** **Finance Business Partner** to join their business on a permanent basis. The business has gone through some exciting and radical changes to pivot with the changing markets to offer their clients world-class services.

The role will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and will join their Senior leadership team.

Their offices are new, with several breakout areas to help unwind after a busy day or to get your head down and crack on with work. They promote strong collaborative culture but also understand the need to mute out the external distractions with working in a very busy office. Being based in the East Midlands is advantageous to get commute to their offices, so surrounding areas such as Leicester, Leicestershire, Coalville, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Wigston, Hinckley, Narborough, Broughton Astley and Market Harborough would be ideal to commute from.

As the **Assistant** **Finance Business Partner**, you will be involved in a lot of key business decision making, working closely with the Finance Director, CFO and CEO to enable successful execution of business strategy to develop the business further.

**Duties also include**:

- Budgeting and forecasting
- Full end-to-end Management Accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Supporting Finance Director and CFO with Strategic Planning
- Financial Forecasting
- Assisting with consolidating financial statements

**To be successful as the Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will need the following**:

- **Qualified in either ACCA / ACA / CIMA**or with **substantial experience** working at this level.
- Ability to work at a high level both independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of different managerial structures
- UK GAAP and IFRS experience highly desirable
- Ability to partner at all levels.
- Working with international entities is highly desirable.
