Business Analyst - Manchester - £55,000

Business Analyst required to work across both business users and IT to analyse requirements and provide appropriate technology solutions.

Michael Page Technology have partnered with one of the leading professional services organisations to support them with their growth plans with the recruitment of a Business Analyst.

**Description**

As Business Analyst you will be resposible for the analysis and capture of their current business processes and models - helping to design and implement technology solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities will include:

- Facilitate a dialogue between business stakeholders and the IT team. You will capture requirements and translate business needs into a functioning set of systems and hardware that improve internal processes and overall business performance.
- Deep dive into current business capabilities, needs and technology gaps, with a view to identifying appropriate solutions.
- Participation in implementation projects and liaising with multiple business users & stakeholders throughout the process.
- Following solution deployment, the Business Analyst will work through post-project tasks, such as system training & awareness and monitoring the adoption of new solutions.
- Setting up and working with business user groups to ensure a focus on continuous improvement
- Using modelling tools and analysis to identify business IT needs
- Stakeholder management (all levels)
- Assisting with solution design and selection
- Staff training for new processes, software and systems

**Profile**

The successful Business Analyst will have the following experience:

- Prior experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally across IT projects within professional services
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure full engagement in the business analysis and business requirements gathering process, resolving conflict where required.
- Proven experience with business analysis & modelling tools
- Experience of working within Project Management delivery methodologies
- Experience operating in a challenging organisational environment with a requirement to balance different priorities and demands
- Experienced in and have an interest in continuous process improvement and optimisation.
- Experience of working within a structured in-house IT environment

**Job Offer**
- £45,000 to £55,000 plus excellent benefits
- Flexible working patterns / Hybrid working
- 2 days a week on site / remote working available
