Npd Assistant

Cawingredients are currently recruiting for a NPD Assistant role within our fast moving, dynamic growing business. We supply high volume soft drinks principally to the UK market.

We operate from a state-of-the-art production facility based in North Yorkshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is at the start of their career and is looking to join a fantastic business offering prospects to progress a career in a manufacturing environment.

This is an assistant position, however there is career progression including full training & the opportunity to excel & diversify within NPD. Training will be provided. Typical tasks include but are not limited to:

- Sensory Taste Testing
- Market Reviews & Trend Analysis
- Recipe Creation & Laboratory Formulation
- Involvement in Artwork Approvals
- Gaining continuous knowledge of the soft drinks industry, manufacturing processes, raw materials & their functionality.
- Raw Material & Supplier Approval
- Product Specifications & Pack Copies
- Preparation, support & execution of factory trials & launches
- Creation of Production Documentation including QAS sheets
- Purchase Order Creation
- Coordinating samples for our exciting customer base
- Gathering & Review of Production Data
- Gaining knowledge in food safety and HACCP for our products

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
