Construction Estimator

We are looking for a motivated and skilled **Estimator** to join our dynamic estimating team. This role involves preparing competitive bids and contributing to our continued success in winning projects. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards and reputation while ensuring the delivery of exceptional results.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Tender Preparation**: Reviewing tender documents, preparing accurate responses, and ensuring bids align with client requirements.
- **Collaboration**: Working closely with senior estimators and project managers to follow action plans and achieve shared goals.
- **Supplier Coordination**: Assisting the estimating team in distributing and managing tenders among subcontractors and suppliers.
- **Contract Review**: Evaluating contract conditions and identifying potential risks prior to submission.
- **Submission Process**: Collating and preparing tender documents, holding pre-submission adjudication meetings, and ensuring timely submissions.
- **Project Handover**: Conducting detailed handover meetings with the contract management team to ensure smooth project initiation.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- A strong desire to deliver high-quality bids with a focus on design and value.
- Understanding of the construction process, including design implications, building regulations, and contract types.
- Proficient in communicating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine designs and resolve technical queries.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance cost-effectiveness with quality outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Proficiency in **ConQuest Estimating Software** (desirable but not essential).
- A full, valid driving license.
