**Position **Overview**:
Reporting to the HR Associate for the UK, and as part of Questel’s Human Resources Team, this part-time role is responsible to support HR efforts in the UK and work specifically with the Novagraaf team to support key HR programs and services including talent review, benefits, compensation, and various initiatives.

**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist with onboarding of new staff including orientation, benefits and training
- Administer and explain UK benefits to employees
- Process terminations and participate in exit interviews
- Coordinate with IT department on provision and maintenance of all office equipment
- Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions and reporting them to the HR Associate
- Assist managers and employees when the HR Associate is absent
- Ensure compliance with ISO:27001 certification; identify and document controls for managing supplier risks
- Adhere to all applicable and local laws and regulations
- Liaise with HR team to support other locations worldwide
- Assist the HR Associate with daily duties, as needed
- General day-to-day management of three offices
- Handle health and safety compliance with facilities management issues
- Organize and coordinate meetings and events
- Create and maintain company and employee records
- Assist with HR issues under the direction of the HR Associate
- Maintain and handle regulatory and compliance matters, including the renewal of professional and general insurance, insurance claims, etc. with IPReg
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

**Education and Experience**: Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or related experience required. Or any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated aptitude in conducting interviews
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation, and benefits
- Demonstrated initiative, persistence, ability to problem-solve and enthusiasm for learning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to get along well with others in stressful situations
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in a second language, other than English, is preferred but not required
