**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli items. You will ensure that all food safety standards are met and maintain a clean and organised work environment. This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve deli products, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Maintain food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions
- Operate deli equipment safely and effectively
- Keep the deli area clean and organised, including regular cleaning of surfaces and equipment
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all products are stocked and fresh
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food preparation or serving is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
- Barista experience is a plus but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
