**Purpose of Role**:

- To provide efficient and accurate support to the Human Resources department in a FMCG organisation.
- To assist the HR Manager to ensure the site adheres to employment law and ethical compliance and that company policies and procedures are followed.
- To support the management team to ensure we have the right people in the right roles, offering practical guidance on recruitment, performance and staff development.
- To be a role model for all employees and an ambassador for Cranswick Country Foods, Prepared Poultry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work on various projects as defined by the company or the Human Resources Manager.
- Ensuring training is arranged, coordinated, completed and logged on the matrix
- Refresher training and refresher inductions are arranged, coordinated, completed and logged on the matrix
- Provide generalist HR support and advice to managers.
- Supporting the Disciplinary and Grievance procedures including advising managers, taking notes and when instructed interviewing employees
- Assisting with payroll
- Inputting personnel / payroll information on time and attendance system ensuring that the information is maintained and up to date.
- Supporting and advising the recruitment process and assisting with Interviews when required
- Provide support, by the way of recruitment letters, disciplinary letters, probationary period letters etc.
- Ensuring all Paperwork is in place for all employees, including new starters etc. Contracts, Job descriptions.
- Ensure that exit interviews are completed for all leavers, compiling the information for analysis.
- Cover HR, Training and H&S Coordinator during holidays, absence and when required.
- Act as deputy for HR Manager when required
- Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Senior Management

**In addition, you will undertake any training that the company deems necessary that may assist you to effect the above responsibilities**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year

- Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
