**Shift**:7:30am to 4:30pm pm Monday to Thursday / 7:30am to 12:30pm on a Friday

**The Packing & Supervisor role**:
Due to continued growth into new sectors and expansion of their largest contracts, the company is undergoing a recruitment drive of up to 15 new engineers, assigned exclusively to Optima UK.

As part of this planned growth, they are looking to recruit a Packing & Assembly Supervisor on their dayshift.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Assist with general Quality Control checks.
- Assembly and packing of POS displays and retail fixtures/furniture.
- Provide first line support to a team of 10-12 operatives
- Work closely with Team Leaders to ensure targets are met
- Competent in assembly and packing of retail display items, working from specific instructions.
- Part assembling and quality checking components during the assembly phase.
- Use of appropriate packaging materials to suit protection for the goods.
- Use of light hand/air powered / power tools.
- Use correct manual handling techniques, including use of forklift truck (training provided as required.)
- Accurately record / check condition of fixtures to a brief and making reports for team leader.
- Red and interpret technical drawings
- Be fluent in English.
