Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative (4) (Fixed Term)

Dumfries / Lockerbie

£23,625 - £25,239

Duties will include:

- Driving of refuse, recyclate, food waste and bulky goods vehicles.
- Assisting with loading duties associated with refuse and recycling service if required.
- Ensuring collections are carried out on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner and adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
- Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Communities. We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require Senior Refuse & Recycling Operatives at our depot in Lockerbie.

You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety and DCPC requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.

These post’s are fixed term for up to 12 months.

You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have HGV License and up to date DCPC.
