**Responsible For**:
Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepares work to be accomplished by adhering to Work Instructions/DWGs/Product Packs/Parts Lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Reduce amount of product non-conformances
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rule sand regulations
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies and notifying Project Engineer for placement of orders; verifying receipt of supplies
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Documents actions by completing production and quality inspection forms
- Understanding the functions of MRP system
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assemblies on time with zero defects.

- Knowledge of commercial furniture
- Ability to take into consideration: customer’s aspirations, material requirements, manufacturing processes, site conditions, and fit for purpose.

**Advantageous requirements:

- Ability to operate data capture on MRP manufacturing system
- Ability to demonstrate competency through previous employment minimum 5 years.

Salary £10.42ph

Working a 4 day week. Mon - Thurs 6.00am - 4.30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
