I am working with a Single form entry school in Dewsbury who are looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support with a student. The student is not in mainstream education, and does spend time at a specialist provision during the week.

The student needs an active assistant who can keep pace with him during the day. The student is not violent in nature, but does require emotional support when introduced to new scenarios. The school are looking for someone who is ideally Team Teach or MAPAtrained in case the student gets agitated and needs to be calmed and a situation de-escalated.
