The post holder is expected to identify and set up systems and develop the scope of the role in line with the needs of the Trust and of TARN and to work closely with managers and colleagues to continuously review and enhance the role to ensure the Trusts involvement in TARN reaches its full potential. To develop and review flow charts and protocols to define the scope of the role. To work on ones own initiative and with mínimal supervision and to prioritise and plan ones own work load. The post holder will be required to collect data from the Trust and will therefore need to be flexible to work across sites.
The role will involve providing regular reports to various stakeholders including the Trust Board.They may also contribute to the wider role of the Clinical Effectiveness Team, e.g. Policies and Guidelines, National Service Frameworks and Confidential enquiries. The post holder will be required to attend relevant internal departmental and Trust meetings and represent the Trust at any external TARN meetings required.
