This is an outstanding opportunity for a formally qualified Commercial Accountant to join an ambitious, dynamic, high-growth manufacturing business and to make a real contribution to the company's future growth and success.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who is well organised, confident and self-motivated, and who can work diligently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key details and benefits include:

- Salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Starting on 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays - rising to 30 days plus bank holidays based on length of service

Key Responsibilities:

- Production of monthly management accounts, inc journals, P&L, Balance Sheet, MI and KPIs
- Production of Group consolidated accounts in line with corporate expectations
- Providing senior management with sales, profitability and periodic management reports
- Provide proactive financial advice and guidance to Company Management
- Cash management, budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
- Supervision/maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
- Financial analysis and investigation of variances
- Overseeing the financial components of any capital expenditure request, project and advise parties appropriately throughout. Ensure projects are to budget or appropriate approvals received
- Managing and communicating debtor exposure in line with credit control policies and ensure debtor/ creditor queries which may affect cash flow are remedied in a timely manner
- Preparation of reporting packs and annual statutory packs to strict deadlines
- Preparation of VAT and other government returns
- Oversight/preparation of payroll
- Preparation, maintenance and processing of the company pension scheme and payment of contributions.
- Day-to-day management of an Accounts Assistant
