**Salary**: £25 - 35 per hour

TP Tutors are currently working with Schools and Local Authorities within the **Sunderland area**. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives by achieving their academic goals.

**Tutor Requirements**:

- Professional Teaching Qualifications are **preferred** (Qualified Teacher Status, QTS).
- Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs
- An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided)
- Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

**This role involves**:

- Planning, creating and delivering engaging sessions to children who are currently working below expectations.
- Having an awareness of the child’s needs and interest, using this to create a child-centred approach to learning.
- Assessing pupils, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes and planning next steps.
