The Power markets in EMEA have many idiosyncratic market dynamics related to the unique physical supply/demand and constraints in the key pricing hubs. This requires highly skilled risk management of client risk to provide the best possible competitive pricing and maximise commercial value of the franchise. **Key Responsibilities**: Work closely with global sales team to understand client needs and offer the most suitable products and solutions. Maximising the value of client flow through excellent risk management of the portfolio of residual risk to deliver financial goals. **Knowledge/Experience**: **Skills**: - Knowledge of key power products - both physical and financial - Experience working within a formal risk framework - Understanding of key power market regulations - Analytical skills - particularly in relation to short-term power market fundamentals **Qualifications**: - University degree - At least 5 years trading experience in European power and gas markets - Coding skills (ie: Python) are a positive, but not essential **Competencies**: Highly motivated Proven track record Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Integrity The Certification Regime is one element of the Individual Accountability Regime which has come into effect on 7 March 2016.
