We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience in working with children/adults with a variety of complex needs. The individual appointed must be able to use their initiative and work efficiently in a team, you must be able to engage and motivate the students encouraging their learning.

You will be supporting students from KS1 to KS2, you will have between 8 and 12 students per class with a class Teacher and other support staff. These young learners follow a curriculum that’s designed around their personal abilities and strengths, their education takes place in and outside the classroom.

There could be an element of personal care with this role.

This role is for an immediate start for the rest of the academic year with strong possibilities of going permanent.

**This role may include but is not limited to**:

- Supporting the teacher and the children within the class during lessons, break times and lunch time
- Undertaking any tasks the class teacher may require help with
- Working 1:1 with children who require additional support
- Small group activities and supporting the other staff members during these

- Have previous experience in a similar setting or have transferable skills
- You must be passionate, caring, and resilient
- Show a positive can-do attitude
- Be full of energy
- Be highly motivated and committed to providing children with additional support
- Offer outstanding classroom presence
- Show commitment to safeguarding
- Promote good behaviour in line with school policies
- Be proactive, determined and understanding to each child’s development
