**Location**:Finsbury, London or Feering**

**Salary**: £30k + Hybrid Working + Benefits**

**The Client**:
An agency with big ideas and implementing them with a vast array of integrated digital and offline services. Building powerful marketing campaigns to spill out into the big, wide world and connect with intended target audiences.

They help with everything from brand building, campaign activity, through to the physical interaction with their audiences. Creating bespoke campaigns which considers everything needed for maximum impact; be that offline marketing, online marketing, mediabuying or even retail spaces and experiences.

**The Role**:
The role of the **SEO Specialist** is to assist the SEO Manager to manage and complete all technical, on-page and off-site SEO work coming through the agency for clients. This work will be completed to a high standard and to deadlines for clients, ensuringthat it is completed accurately and efficiently.

The **SEO specialist** will work alongside the SEO Manager to analyse current trends, changes to SEO and current/potential work to understand any new opportunities for the agency and its clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all work undertaken is carried out to scope, accurately and efficiently, to the highest standard and to the timescales determined by the digital team of the client.
- Speak directly with the clients regarding SEO work, building strong relationships.
- Be confident in attending client meetings/calls alongside client services to discuss their SEO performance and recommendations.
- Create and maintain effective and accurate monthly reports delivered to deadlines, using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and other industry tools.
- Creation of optimised content for SEO purposes.
- Work with the development team to brief and test technical optimisations as required.
- Support the team in putting together new pitches, including audits and retainer options.
- Research and maintain an excellent knowledge of trends and updates within SEO and regularly communicating these updates to client services and clients, with plans on how to ensure the client are on top of any changes required.

**Support the SEO Manager in setting the strategy and the delivery of all technical, on-page and off-site SEO work for clients. Including, but not limited to**:

- Keyword and competitor/market research
- GAP Analysis
- Backlink audits/analysis and implementation
- Content audits, creation and planning
- Legacy and technical audits
- Target setting and KPI management
- Report development
- Implementation of tracking solutions such as Google Tag manager
- Data analysis and optimisation

**Skills and Experience**:

- Relevant SEO related qualification.
- Appropriate level of GCSEs/A-Levels.
- Agency experience in an SEO role is desirable.
- Experience of managing SEO activity across both, technical, On-page and off-site SEO to continue the increase of a client’s search ranking.
- Experience implementing SEO using CMS’ such as WordPress.
- Experience of meeting strict deadlines and KPIs.
- An excellent knowledge of SEO.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
- Content optimization.
- Understands the latest trends in the SEO industry and has a keen interest in the customer journey as a whole.
- The ability to explain SEO to the clients in an easy-to-understand way.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and drive to meet deadlines.
- A motivated and driven individual with an excellent attitude.
- A team player working alongside the digital team.
- A desire to progress and continually gain further knowledge and skills within the SEO sector.

**Hours & Location**:

- Full time, Permanent
- Hybrid Working available - 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
- Monday - Friday 9am to 5:30pm

**The position can be based at either**:

- Finsbury, London office and require a visit to the Feering office once a month or
- Feering Office
