The business specialises in servicing the construction, civil engineering and related industries with power tools, accessories, consumables and PPE/ workwear. **Scope of the Role**

The main purpose of this role is to support the Branch Manager and wider team, in delivering the operational requirements of the Company in order to meet personal and branch performance targets. The main responsibilities will be to pick, pack and ship customer orders, accurately record and check incoming stock, store products in an organised and safe way and maintain the businesses standards of work. You will also be required to service trade counter customers when necessary, keep the warehouse tidy and clean and work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Ensure that the warehouse, yard and consumer facing spaces (e.g. trade counter, car park, entry ways) are clean, tidy and well maintained.
- Ensure that the Company’s health and safety standards are met at all times.
- Organise, unpack and store incoming deliveries and upload them onto our ERP system.
- Prepare picking and packing list for customer orders.
- Load and unload our delivery vans.
- Prepare and organise courier collections for customer orders.
- Move stock around the warehouse and store safely, updating product location numbers.
- Participate in regular stock takes and record any discrepancies.
- Service trade counter customers in a professional manner, providing high levels of customer service.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

- Strong communication skills, verbal and written at all levels
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience in working to tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and react to change quickly
- Have positive energy and a can-do attitude
- Be a team player and work for the overall success of the business
- Manual handling training, preferable but not essential
- Forklift licence, preferable but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
