We are now recruiting a **Kitchen Porter **to join our team at **Lea Marston Hotel.**

As a **Kitchen Porter,** you are responsible for assisting ensuring the kitchen area is spotless and ready for service.
- **32 hours per week - must have weekend and evening availability. **_

**Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards**:

- To ensure that all cutlery, crockery, pots and equipment are cleaned to the standard required.
- To ensure that all equipment, cutlery, crockery, pots and glassware is stored safely and allocated to correct areas ensuring that any breakages are reported.
- To keep the kitchen and all related areas clean and tidy.
- To ensure cleaning procedures are followed for the cleaning of equipment with chemicals and follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- To ensure that any faults or damage to equipment are reported to a Senior Chef or Head Kitchen Steward.
- To ensure food materials are stored correctly and rotated to meet company and legal requirements.
- To maintain high standards of working practices in terms of personal appearance and working methods.
- To practice the correct and safe use and care of all items of equipment.
- To report any damage or wear and tear occurring within your areas of work.
