An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of an established, but evolving team within Medical Equipment Library at York Hospital. An integral part of the Medical Engineering Department, the Equipment Library provides an equipment loan service to the Trust, ensuring thatequipment is clean and safe to use.

The role involves the cleaning & checking of equipment, loaning& retrieving equipment around the hospital site and equipment data entry to allow tracking of loan equipment - training will be given within the department.

Applicants should possess excellent organisational and communication skills, you must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of our small friendly team. The role can be physically demanding and there are regular competing demands that require good judgment and the ability tomake decisions using your own initiative.

The Equipment Library hours 08:00 to 16:00 weekdays, with occasional cover over bank holidays.
