**The Role**
- Learning by doing; developing a broad understanding of the business and the insurance industry in order to provide admin support to the team
- Training within the personal lines department
- Inputting information accurately onto systems
- Covering the reception
- Answering calls / relaying messages / switchboard duties
- E-mails
- Dealing with ingoing and outgoing post
- Use of Microsoft packages
- General office duties
Option as the role progresses to study for and take industry exams to become a chartered member of the CII later down the line.
**The person we are looking for must.**
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be computer literate
- Have an interest in developing a long-term career
- Be professional, hard-working and self-motivated
- Have maths & English grade 4 and above (predicted or achieved)
- Have a polite telephone manner
- Be well presented
**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship
**Salary**: From £4.81 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kingston upon Hull, HU2 8JU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
