**BASICS**:
As the **Data Architect** you will **lead strategic and complex data engagements** aligning business strategy, needs & challenges with IT strategy through technology outcomes.
In this role you will also be working with the **Head of Technology Service**, **CIO** and **CDO**, and key responsibilities will include **defining the data architecture framework** standards and principles as well as **delivering a corporate data strategy**. The data strategy will include data modelling, metadata, security, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data across our partner’s system estate.
If you can translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses, whilst closely working with technical and business stakeholders and project delivery teams, wewould like to hear from you TODAY.
Architects who can **effectively communicate complex concepts and principles** with technical and non-technical customers will be sought after.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Technical working experience as a Data Architect, with a strong technical background in data architecture and design, as well as **Azure based data platform knowledge**, **PowerBI **and **SQL** and knowledge of **DevOps**, coupled with an understanding of database structure principles and data mining will result in an
immediate interview request
In addition, **expertise in SQL**, a familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. **PowerBI**), excellent communication skills and an **ability to lead groups, negotiate and build consensus** regarding future goals, whilst conceptualising holistic architecture solutions, will be valuable.
Working experience in **producing EA diagrams**, **wireframes**, **process maps**, **ER diagrams** and **sequence diagrams** is also important.
**TECHNICAL**:
- Knowledge of **Azure** based data platforms.
- Experience with data visualisation tools i.e **PowerBI**.
- Comfortable defining and leading a **corporate data strategy.**
**ACCOUNTABILITY**:
This job role will give you the opportunity to **design data architecture solutions, develop data management projects and design a data infrastructure** that supports complex data analytics services.
